My training philosophy revolves around 3 primary foundations:
Strength . Movement . Belief
All 3 foundations need to coexist, as individually they are limited.
As is quoted by StrongFirst, “Strength is the foundation for developing the rest of physical qualities,” - Prof. Leonid Matveev.
It is a skill that needs to be practiced, and is expressed through a variety of tools - Kettlebells, dumbells, barbells, bodyweight and more.
Strength is both harder to develop and has a lower peak if not built on a base of movement competency. Mobility and control of mobility are essential in creating a rich learning environment to build strength and capacity upon. Move Well before you Move Often.
Firstly the belief to take those steps towards achievement of a greater you and then the growth of self belief as you successfully achieve along the path set out before you.
Underpinning all of this is health. Nutrition, sleep and stress management are always fundamental to your training.
Training sessions are planned based upon your Movement Screening (FMS), nutrition, and lifestyle consults. Priorities are established to successfully achieve your goals as safely and efficiently as possible.
Return to sport protocols.
Preparation for the StrongFirst Girya (SFG1) Certification.
Functional Movement Screen Level 1 and Level 2 Certifications
The principles of movement are implemented from the results we derive from the Functional Movement Screen, allowing professionals to make programming decisions with precision and purpose .
Screen results provide valuable feedback throughout the training process to ensure we are meeting short and long-term movement goals for lifelong health and vitality.
I highly recommend Will. I have had a lot of injuries and trauma in my body and Will has helped me to believe in my body and trust myself again. He has a unique way of pushing you so you feel you can do more yet being empathic enough to understand when enough is enough. He has educated me on so much more than PT, he has taught me heaps about nutrition, he has taught me new ways to move and stretch and work with my body. He is also very funny so brings a lightness to our sessions which motivates me. He is a great listener and genuinely cares about his clients. He is incredibly smart and is always looking for ways to learn more about his craft and share that with his clients. I am incredibly grateful to work with Will.

Really loving the training time I am spending with Will. The focus on movement is a new one for me, but it's paying dividends and a great addition to my training programme. Will's life advice, philosophy and jokes are all included as part of the package! I would recommend anyone to utilise Will's expertise. Move, don't creak.

Will is an excellent PT, flexible, personable and knowledgeable but most importantly knows what he is doing and tailors his approach to the individual. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
